Carmen Electra’s weight loss secrets started with a diet plan that set her mind and taste buds on the right track. Like most people, she tried more than one diet plan, one of which was a Mediterranean weight loss diet plan that has become quite popular. As the name suggests, it is mainly based on recipes from Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Greece. Most of these recipes make use of eating fish on a regular basis, as well as fruits and vegetables, and using only healthy oils such as olive oil and canola oil.
She has since changed from the Mediterranean diet to the Macrobiotic diet plan. Carmen Electra finds that this diet plan, which requires fresher ingredients and more traditional methods of cooking rather than using processed foods cooked quickly, is much more steady and effective for her. Like the Mediterranean plan, the Carmen Electra’s Macrobiotic weight loss diet plan consists of a mix of cooked and raw vegetables (30-40%), whole grains (25-30%), naturally processed ingredients (5-10%), beans (5-10%) and soups, such as miso soup (5%)
But she’s not placing her figure solely on a diet. She knows that diets need exercise as well, and Carmen Electra’s fitness program is, like her diet, something she enjoys doing. She uses dancing to get her cardio done, not just because she loves dancing, but because dancing involves the movement of many muscle groups at once, giving a total body workout that is both fun and effective. She also does strength training at least thrice a week to build lean muscle and increase the rate of fat burning.
It is this combination of proper diet, proper exercise, and proper mindset that has given Carmen Electra the sexy body she is well known for.
